With school right around the corner, it's imperative that divorced parents understand the difficulties awaiting their children. School presents a stressful situation for children of divorce. Children may feel shame, embarrassment, anger or depression. It is highly recommended that parents reach out to their children's teachers and school to inform them of the new family dynamic. The school can observe any new and unusual behavior from the children and report it to the parents.
